CALIFORNIA!!!

Wednesday the 22nd I was waiting for Nicole's chirstmas present in the mail.  I was leaving to go back to california for a couple of weeks for break.  I was texting nicole cause she was already back home in idaho and i was telling her that my mission call was coming but i really had to idea.  I was just hoping that it would so that i could open it up with my family.  Mail come and nicole's present was there along with a white envelope addressed to Elder Jourdain James Scoubes!! i was really excited that it finally came.  I told nicole awhile back that i would wait for her to open it no matter where we were.  So of coarse i always keep my promises and waited for her to come to california to open it.  It took a lot of patience to wait for 5 days, it was killing my mom.

So the 28th finally came and me and my parents went to reno to pick up nicole.  And since she was here we could finally open it!!  i was trying to sleep all day so that it would go quick and i wouldnt think about opening it up cause i told everyone 730.  So i had my brother and his family on skype and my sister just got off work and came over and my mom and dad and also my grandpa.  O yea how could i forget my beautiful girlfriend!!

I finally opened it up and i read and it said that i was going to Missouri Independence Mission and i was to report March 9!! I was really excited and nicole and my brother were telling me all about independence and how much church history is there which i have always wanted to go see.  So everyone who is reading this please take care of nicole for me!! ;) PLEAE AND THANK YOU!

Anyways for the rest of the break we just relaxed at my home and went shopping mainly for mission stuff and played games.  We played chess and yes nicole beat me and then we played scrabble and yes my dad and nicole beat me!!  i thought since she was a visitor i would let her win some game! :) love you babe!

We had a nice little date together.  We went to the sundial bridge and of coarse shakes and in and out.  The sundial bridge is very pretty especially when you have a pretty girl like nicole there with you!  The bridge tells time when the sun is out by the shadow that the bridge makes.  It is pretty cool and there is only one other bridge like it in the world.  

This was at the beginning of the bridge and Nicole thought it was really funny!! haha

The other fun thing we did was we went to my sisters house and rode her quad around and played some wii again i let nicole beat me :)  My sister has a lot of land and it snowed in redding the night before so there was still some snow on the ground.  Nicole was trying to throw me off of the quad but never was successful!

California was a lot of fun especially when nicole came! i am very grateful for her and everything that she does for me and will do for me in the future.  I love you Nicole!!!  O and about her christmas gift...she can tell you if she wants.
